Walmart has different prototypes based on things like the size of the store and the community. This will be a unique design for a store of this size. It brings our "store of the future" design concept that will allow us to really cater to the community and provide products and services residents are telling us they want.

We just opened our 96th Portillo's location here in Middleton and we're excited to be here to continue to grow our business by tapping into the strong economic drivers of the community and surrounding area. I want people to have a great time, enjoy the food, and create lifelong memories with us.

The Villages' sustained growth and strong community spirit align perfectly with our brand values. As a company, we make sure our environmentally-friendly farms are paid fair wages, so they may continue to grow exceptional crops. This creates profit and growth for the famers, for our company, and brings exceptional value to The Villages - one cup at a time.

I've run restaurants throughout the country in all kinds of markets, all kinds of facilities, all kinds of areas. I came to The Villages fifteen years ago and I was quite taken back by how different it was. What surprised me the most was the tremendous amount of support that we get from the residents. Whether it's The Villages Cheerleaders showing up for the ribbon cutting or hundreds of people coming to the grand opening, it's incredible and I've never experienced anything like it.

It's a whole new market for us with all new friends. We're looking at Middleton as a pivot point in our company. We look forward to becoming part of their community, and to be a part of the development that's bringing families together, by intention and by design — that's right in our DNA.

What excites me about coming to Middleton? The family-oriented population and the growing community with younger people that will enjoy our funky brand. Another good thing about the Middleton location is it will be, in fact, golf cart accessible. Middleton's a great community, it's awesome.

Each time we had an opportunity to open a new location, the business grew and the opportunities grew. I've enjoyed the support here in The Villages for 39 years.

It's a very different dynamic being in a Square, which is what motivated me to open here. I had looked at about 20 sites, and what excited me most about the Brownwood location is I would come up on Saturdays and sit at the outside patio and just watch all the people and all the dogs. I said to my husband, 'That's where I want to be.'

We're happy to be back in our community and tap into the growing demographic based on our deep understanding of their needs. After my wife and I graduated from The Villages Charter School, we moved to Tallahassee where Lucky Goat was founded. We are excited to bring it back to our community here in Eastport and give back to the community we love.

We are excited about our location in The Villages; it's in a beautiful part of town. This growth opportunity in a community-focused area will be great for our business. Folks can pull up in their golf cars and go through our drive-through. I can't think of a community in Central Florida that's more right for a Twistee Treat. The Villages is the perfect place to be.

We decided on The Villages for our second location because we are currently located in Mount Dora and many of our customers were already coming from The Villages to shop there. The most exciting thing about being a part of the community is that it is fast-growing, which increases opportunities, and everyone is so happy to live here; seeing their energy and excitement has been a lot of fun, and we want to be part of that.

We are excited to be expanding in Florida, and are thrilled to be coming to Middleton, a community that supports our mission to inspire people to live their dreams, and home to our franchisees' family. The opportunity to target a family-focused community drew us to this location — it really couldn't be a better fit for what we do.
